Katie and Bridget do a lot of UMs as they re-watch the 80's movie: Better Off Dead... ! It's a somehow rated PG movie all about a teenager looking to end his life when his girlfriend dumps him.... Yup! We're also confused! Come along as we meet Lane, a walking boyfriend of red flags who spends the movie being mopey and possibly schizophrenic once his girlfriend Beth dumps him for the captain of the ski team - our own real life Ken doll named Roy. Along the way there's his best friend Charles, a 55 year old teenager, and Monique, a foreign exchange student who may or may not be in a human trafficking situation. They help Lane get over his sadness and win at a ski competition - which is apparently what this was all about(!?) except it actually wasn't(!?) but FINE! Will Lane be able to survive all the way to the end of the movie? Does he skimp out the paper boy on a mere $2!? Released in 1985, it stars John Cusack and was written and directed by\\xa0Savage Steve Holland.
