Are you interested in your mental health?  Have you been having trouble with keeping your thoughts organized?  Today, we dive into a power-packed episode that you don’t want to miss. We discuss how to organize your thoughts, editing your toxic thoughts, and realize your personal triggers. In this episode, I talk with Dr. Caroline Leaf. She is a communication pathologist and cognitive neuroscientist with a Masters's and Ph.D. in Communication Pathology and a BSc in Logopaedics, specializing in cognitive and metacognitive neuropsychology. Since the early 1980s she has researched the mind-brain connection, the nature of mental health, and the formation of memory. She was one of the first in her field to study how the brain can change (neuroplasticity) with directed mind input. Today, Dr. Caroline shares with us how much your mind controls your body, and how to free ourselves from perfectionism.

Questions I asked:

  • Can you tell us about you and how you got the idea for your book?
  • How can we reorganize our thoughts to improve our mental mess?
  • How do we deal with our negative thoughts from the last year?
  • How long does it take to change your thought patterns?
  • How do we help people catch their negative or toxic thoughts?
  • How can we recognize our brain patterns and change them?
  • What are some tips for people who suffer from perfectionism?
  • Where can everyone find you?
