Episode 11: Clitvacking Real Life Horrors With Adam Lindo.

Published: Aug. 16, 2019, 9:36 p.m.

This episode with Adam Lindo got a bit serious and political as we discussed the real life horrors happening with U.S. immigration practices, as highlighted in Adam's most recent acting role as I.C.E. Agent "Clitvack" on season 7 of Orange Is The New Black. He has also played a detective on Blue City, a gritty show delving into real life horrors of gang violence, drugs, and corruption. When he's not appearing in Above the Shadows, Blindspot, The Blacklist, Bluebloods, Power, and other shows and films, he's managing a barber shop and writing children's books. In fact, he just released a new interactive children book, Nile Goes to the Barbershop, in which he donates half of the proceeds to charity to help immigrant families. We got to chat with him about the inspiration for his book, what it was like playing a memorable, albeit unlikeable, villain on a popular show, how he handles being "eye candy" and interacting on Instagram, what it's like getting acting roles as a person of color, his limit for acting in sex scenes, ideal roles and genres, and upcoming projects.
