The Real Christmas Miracle

This morning, Vijay explores Joseph\'s experience of the Christmas story (Matt 1:18-24). He suggests that for Joseph, the miracle of the virgin birth pales in comparison to the real miracle of Christmas - that God would become human. But, that is the great insight of Christmas: God is \'Immanuel\', the God who has always (right from the creation of the world) been a God who is with us and for us. What the birth of Jesus makes concrete for Joseph and for every believer is that this is not some kind of abstract idea. He is really with us in every circumstance of our lives. He really does deliver us from our sins.
