Deborah Adjoa Nhyira Nyarko-Mensah is an active illustrator,fine arts, and pattern design professional from Accra Ghana. She is currently living in Mauritius pursuing a undergraduate degree in Business Management at the African Leadership University. Her passion for art stems from her childhood and she  endeavours to tell a personal narrative through each piece she creates. In today's episode of the podcast, Deborah Nhyira talks about digital arts as an artistic work or practice that uses technology as part of the creative or presentation process. She talks particularly about spending a lot of time and effort honing one's artistic craft to accomplish something personal and meaningful, and using digital marketing  by leveraging social media to reach a wider audience who span the globe. Cashing in on your talents is 1% being successful but digital technology would make one more successful. Deborah highlights how easy artists get exploited on digital media platforms and hence it is very crucial to protect one's work by being "street smart" and have a reading culture to learn social media strategies to properly sell digital artwork. She also shares personal insights into how supportive her parents in her pursuit of digital arts and encourages most parents to do likewise for their wards. Inspired by her creative parents she has developed a key sense for aesthetics for her art work which has translated into a variety of artistic skills . With time she hopes to have reputable name for herself in the industry and to use this to give glory to God.
