b'SALT Galata\\u2019n\\u0131n a\\xe7\\u0131l\\u0131\\u015f sergilerinden Ge\\xe7mi\\u015fe H\\xfccum: Osmanl\\u0131 \\u0130mparatorlu\\u011fu\\u2019nda Arkeolojinin \\xd6yk\\xfcs\\xfc, 1753-1914, arkeolojinin Yak\\u0131n Do\\u011fu\\u2019daki zengin ve karma\\u015f\\u0131k hik\\xe2yesini se\\xe7ili arkeolojik b\\xf6lgeler \\xfczerinden kronolojik bir anlat\\u0131mla sahneliyor. Yunanistan\\u2019dan M\\u0131s\\u0131r\\u2019a uzanan geni\\u015f bir co\\u011frafyadaki arkeoloji faaliyetlerini sosyal, k\\xfclt\\xfcrel ve politik ba\\u011flamlar\\u0131yla inceleyen sergi, yakla\\u015f\\u0131k 200 y\\u0131l boyunca Osmanl\\u0131 topraklar\\u0131nda ger\\xe7ekle\\u015ftirilmi\\u015f yerli ve yabanc\\u0131 arkeolojik giri\\u015fimleri irdeliyor. Sergi ayr\\u0131ca, Bat\\u0131\\u2019n\\u0131n \\u201cklasik d\\xf6nemin k\\xfclt\\xfcrel miras\\u0131na\\u201d ilgisine odakl\\u0131 ara\\u015ft\\u0131rmalara paralel olarak Osmanl\\u0131 tarih anlat\\u0131s\\u0131ndaki d\\xf6n\\xfc\\u015f\\xfcmleri kaps\\u0131yor; modern anlamda ilk m\\xfcze olan British Museum ile Osmanl\\u0131\\u2019n\\u0131n Evkaf-\\u0131 \\u0130sl\\xe2miye M\\xfczesi (bug\\xfcnk\\xfc ad\\u0131yla T\\xfcrk ve \\u0130sl\\xe2m Eserleri M\\xfczesi) aras\\u0131ndaki izle\\u011fi s\\xfcr\\xfcyor.\\n\\nSerginin ana malzemeleri, Bat\\u0131l\\u0131 ve Osmanl\\u0131 k\\xe2\\u015fiflerin raporlar\\u0131 ile seyahat izlenimlerine ili\\u015fkin kitaplar, b\\xf6lgelerin detayl\\u0131 \\xe7izimlerini i\\xe7eren planlar ile Osmanl\\u0131lar\\u0131n, M\\xfcze-i H\\xfcmayun\\u2019un (bug\\xfcnk\\xfc ad\\u0131yla \\u0130stanbul Arkeoloji M\\xfczeleri) kurulu\\u015fu itibariyle eski eser m\\xfccadelesine d\\xe2hil olu\\u015funun izd\\xfc\\u015f\\xfcm\\xfcn\\xfc sunan belge ve foto\\u011fraflardan meydana geliyor. Bu malzemeler, Yunanistan, T\\xfcrkiye, Irak, Suriye, L\\xfcbnan ve M\\u0131s\\u0131r\\u2019daki \\xf6nemli arkeolojik kaz\\u0131 alanlar\\u0131ndan o d\\xf6nemde \\xe7\\u0131kart\\u0131l\\u0131p \\u0130stanbul Arkeoloji M\\xfczeleri\\u2019ne getirilmi\\u015f objeler ile destekleniyor. \\n\\nSerginin ana temas\\u0131n\\u0131 ise, ge\\xe7mi\\u015fe y\\xf6nelik ilginin 18. y\\xfczy\\u0131l\\u0131n ortalar\\u0131ndan itibaren bir \\u201cm\\xfccadele\\u201d alan\\u0131na d\\xf6n\\xfc\\u015fmesinin hik\\xe2yesi olu\\u015fturuyor. Bu d\\xf6n\\xfc\\u015f\\xfcm\\xfcn temelinde, Avrupa\\u2019da uygarl\\u0131\\u011f\\u0131n k\\xf6kenlerini antik k\\xfclt\\xfcrlerde arama iddias\\u0131na hizmet eden arkeoloji faaliyetlerinin, 19. y\\xfczy\\u0131l itibariyle emperyalist projelere d\\xe2hil edilmesi yat\\u0131yor. Osmanl\\u0131lar\\u0131n arkeoloji arenas\\u0131nda yer bulmaya ba\\u015flamas\\u0131 da, yine bu emperyal iddialara paralel olarak ortaya \\xe7\\u0131kan tarih bilincinin y\\xfckseli\\u015fine dayan\\u0131yor. Arkeolojiye bak\\u0131\\u015f\\u0131n ge\\xe7irdi\\u011fi bu d\\xf6n\\xfc\\u015f\\xfcm, sergide Avrupal\\u0131 ve Osmanl\\u0131 akt\\xf6rlerin aralar\\u0131ndaki etkile\\u015fime vurgu yap\\u0131larak inceleniyor. \\n\\nGe\\xe7mi\\u015fe H\\xfccum, Zainab Bahrani, Zeynep \\xc7elik ve Edhem Eldem taraf\\u0131ndan kavramsalla\\u015ft\\u0131r\\u0131l\\u0131p haz\\u0131rland\\u0131. Grafik tasar\\u0131m \\xe7al\\u0131\\u015fmalar\\u0131n\\u0131 Asl\\u0131 Altay y\\xfcr\\xfctt\\xfc. Celine Condorelli\\u2019nin enstalasyonu, serginin destek yap\\u0131s\\u0131 i\\u015flevini g\\xf6r\\xfcyor. Mark Dion ve Michael Rakowitz\\u2019in \\xf6zel olarak haz\\u0131rlad\\u0131\\u011f\\u0131 iki enstalasyon ise, serginin kavramsal altyap\\u0131s\\u0131n\\u0131n \\xf6ne \\xe7\\u0131kard\\u0131\\u011f\\u0131 baz\\u0131 meselelere g\\xf6nderme yaparak, arkeolojiyle ili\\u015fkimizi ve bu dala dair g\\xfcndelik alg\\u0131m\\u0131z\\u0131 ele al\\u0131yor.'
