Coming Out in Rural Nebraska with Nikki Hayes

Published: Sept. 8, 2021, 4:10 a.m.

This week I chat with Nikki Hayes.  Nikki is a mother and ally, activist for LGBTQ+ in rural Nebraska.

After her son came out as Transgender, Nikki founded CORN - Coming Out in Rural Nebraska.  A group that hopes to start conversations about LGBTQ+ and what it means in Rural Nebraska.  Nikki is open about her journey, her mistakes, and her successes. She shares her bravery, her passion, and her understanding.
