We are quick to criticize others\' faults rather than examining our own lives. True revival begins with individual repentance and spiritual growth, not complaining about others. We must stop focusing on fixing everyone else and instead prioritize working on our own relationship with God. As we each grow closer to Christ, our families, churches and communities will be renewed. The church\'s effectiveness depends on personal spiritual maturity, not keeping an immature herd together. Let us put away childish ways and become spiritually mature, beginning with our own walk with God.\\n\\n\\nAs Charles Spurgeon said, "Look within thine own heart first..." We must confront the sin and immaturity within ourselves before concerning ourselves with others. Criticizing fellow believers only breeds more disunity and dysfunction. Our eyes should be fixed firmly on Christ as we allow Him to transform us from within.\\n\\n\\nAdrian Rogers compellingly stated, "You cannot lead others further than you have gone yourself." Spiritual leadership requires personal maturity and depth of character. We lead best by example, humbly walking the path of sanctification ahead of others. Then we can come alongside our brothers and sisters, having credibility and compassion borne of our own struggles.
