b'MEMORIAL DAY PRAYER JN 15:13\\n #Nightlight #RTTBROS\\n\\nToday, we remember the heroes who served our nation in the armed forces, especially those who gave their lives for our freedom. As we honor their sacrifice, let us also remember the truth that our founding fathers understood well: "The tree of liberty is fertilized by the blood of patriots." (Thomas Jefferson) These brave men and women paid the ultimate price so that we can live in freedom today.\\n\\nIn John 15:13, Jesus said, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." We are grateful for the love and sacrifice of these fallen heroes, who laid down their lives for us, their fellow citizens and friends. We pray for their families, who have empty chairs at their dinner tables tonight. We ask that you heal their hurt hearts and bring provision to their families. We know that you are a God of love and comfort, and we trust that you will wrap them in your love and assure them of our love for them.\\n\\nAs we remember these heroes, let us also remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who laid down his life for us all. In Romans 5:8, it says, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." We are grateful for the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus, who gave his life so that we could have eternal life.
