The African Grey parrot was removed from his funeral at The Hermitage, Tennessee, for swearing so loud and long it disturbed the attendees.\\n\\nEphesians 4:29 is a reminder that our words have power and we should use them wisely. Perhaps we can use some truth from this verse to train our Parrot to use our communication for something more noble than swearing. As a Christian, this verse can be applied in many ways. For example, it can be applied in our relationships with others. We should speak words that are uplifting and encouraging to others instead of tearing them down.\\n\\nAnother way this verse can be applied is in our social media usage. We should be careful about what we post online and how we interact with others on social media. Our words can have a lasting impact on others and we should use them to build others up instead of tearing them down.\\n\\nLastly, this verse can be applied in our daily lives. We should strive to speak words that are kind and loving to others.
