If you’re a contact lens user, you might not realise the danger you expose your eyes to by doing something as simple as letting your contact lenses come in contact with tap water. 
 
Fiona Henriquez, a Professor of Parasitology at the University of the West of Scotland has been researching the dangerous parasite that lurks in water and came up with an ingenious and simple way to protect our contact lenses.
