The use of an. absolute number and its relative counterpart is one of the most sneaky way people over or under-state the risk they are talking about.  When you hear an absolute number of, say, deaths from covid-19, the figure is much more scary than if it is represented as a percentage of the population.  This podcast explores the use of stats in the context of who are the worst drivers.
