The heavens are open over us. This means that the Lord wants to bless us. Bless us with Power from above. The happiest news that we should cherish today is the presence of the Lord with us. He has come to dwell with us; He has come to make His permanent abode with us. He wants to show the world that He is with us. He is present in us and He hovers over us. He fights your battles for you. He takes glory in defeating your enemies for you. The very knowledge of His unending presence with you should pump into you new energy , make you shout for joy, sing and dance. 

This doesn’t stop with dancing and singing and shouting, but it energizes you to move in power. The heavens are open over you, but its a choice that you should make, to be heaven conscious. When you are heaven conscious, then you will start working on bringing heaven on earth. Anyone who has banks on the presence of God never lacks anything, especially peace, joy and power. And this should make us sing Happy Songs. 

On the other hand, the exciting truth that we have to know and realize is GOD REJOICES IN OUR PRESENCE. This simply means He considers it joy to be amongst us. He loves to be with us. He loves to talk to us, guide us, take care of us, abide with us and make His presence known. He sings HAPPY SONG over us. We are His children, and like a dad singing for His children, like a mother singing in deep love and joy over her children, the Lord sings over us. 

Pastor John teaches this deep truth from Zephaniah 3:17, about how the Lord rejoices over His remnant. The remnant is you and me who believes in Jesus. The remnant is the ones who are set apart for the Lord. The remnant is the separated. The remnant is ones who are in the world but not of the world. 

This gives us the true joy, endless peace and rejoicing-within just knowing that He rejoices over us.
