There are many religious folks who wrongly assume that they are saved because they bear a Christian name or title, belong to a Christian family or group, hold Christian values or beliefs, or because they have undergone water baptism or church confirmation.

Many people today are living on a false assumption that they are saved because they read the Bible daily, fast and pray regularly, attend church services dutifully, give their offerings and tithes faithfully, volunteer and serve in church diligently, or because they receive answers to their prayers or some miracles from God.

This enlightening teaching (Part 1 in a series) aptly refutes many wrong assumptions about salvation. It clearly explains what salvation is not.
