God wants us to take a good look at our hearts. Why is that? Because the heart presents the center of our being- its the source of desires and decisions.

Its important that for us to align with what God is doing in this season of our lives- we must not allow anything to come into or flow out of our hearts that is not pleasing to God and wont help us on our spiritual growth. So we need to guard what we listen to, what we watch, what we read, what we talk and think about. We need to understand that images and ideas can take root in our hearts if we are not careful of what we allow_ if we are not careful this can affect the type of people we become.
