Published: Feb. 27, 2021, 3:56 p.m.

In this episode we discuss bell hooks' book All About Love. We examine the confusion of the meaning of love. Our primary relationships form our idea of love which can include dysfunction and at times abuse. Our emotional and physical connection with others can be confused with love. We discuss love being a verb and not a noun. Love is an active choice. Society presents a consumer driven version of love both in movies, literature, and advertising. We begin the conversation about self-love and the importance of being able to love yourself before loving others.
