Seventeenth-century theologian John Owen once said "be killing sin or it will be killing you." In John 8, Jesus describes Satan as the "father of lies." Literally since the beginning of human history, we have struggled against the lies of Satan. How do we combat such powerful opposition? In this series, we see how to push back against Satan's lies with the truth of Jesus. Where do thoughts, feelings, and emotions such as guilt, shame, bitterness, anger, worry, fear, envy, and comparison originate? What does Scripture have to say about who we are in Christ?
