As followers of Jesus, we must recognize and resist the thinking of the world and lies of Satan and, instead, tune our hearts to God’s way. When Jesus said “I am the way, the truth, and the life,” he is essentially saying all other ways are untrue and lead to death. With this in mind, we must realize we are at war, but this war isn’t like any other. We are at war with lies and attacked through the devil, the flesh, and the world. Deceptive ideas lead to disordered desires leading to normalization in a sinful society.
