b"Ava Leigh Stewart is a prolific artist who specializes in creative development for film, television, and web.\\xa0 Stewart launched her film career after earning a film degree in London, England. She garnished attention after directing, producing, and writing an award winning short film called\\xa0Keepers of the Gate\\xa0in 2006.\\xa0\\xa0 In 2011, she directed her feature debut film entitled,\\xa0South of Southern. She has gone on to direct seven more feature films and countless other media projects.\\xa0 Stewart is currently working on the feature documentary entitled,\\xa0Paradise Garden.\\xa0\\xa0 She was one of the producers of the recently released feature documentary film,\\xa0State of Control, which chronicles the humanitarian crisis in Tibet. Leigh\\xa0founded the Southeastern Film Festival in 2013, second year in progress, we have over 1300 submissions from 44 countries. She\\xa0believes in supporting independent film, so she offered a 30 day free entry period.\\xa0 In that time,she received over 40 films from countries that were under sanctions, like North Korea and Iran, where filmmakers don't have credit cards and can't enter festivals to promote their work.\\xa0\\xa0 The first event this year took place in Dahlonega, Georgia and we screened 45 films from 24 countries over a long weekend, our next event will be in Nashville in November of 2015.\\xa0Stewart\\xa0is \\xa0also an author whose work extends from poetry, to fiction and non-fiction novels, as well as screenwriting."
