b'Alonzo B. Slater landed his first leading role alongside veteran actors Vivica A. Fox (Independence Day) and Jacke\\xe9 Harry\\xa0\\n\\n\\t(Sister Sister) in his first Christmas film, A Christmas for Mary which premiered December 9th on OWN. Alonzo plays a handsome love interest, Michael Payton, who\\u2019s a wholesome man taking over his family\\u2019s business in a small town where he discovers the woman of his dreams.\\xa0Since moving to Los Angeles, Alonzo signed to Wilhelmina Modeling Agency, and has been in several commercial and print ads, including: Asics, Verizon, American Express, Chevrolet, and many more. When he isn\\u2019t working on screen, he\\u2019s writing for his own production company, AM Productions. \\u201cI have a lot to look forward to in 2021, we all do after a traumatic year.
