b'Deriving from the city of New York, in the borough of The Bronx,\\xa0Adam Falcon\\xa0is a guitarist, singer/songwriter whose music is rooted in the blues and early soul.\\xa0Digesting early sounds of\\xa0Fats Domino, Aretha Franklin\\xa0and\\xa0B.B. King.HFalcon became heavily inspired by\\xa0The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Carole King, Hal David & Burt Bacharach, Sly & The Family Stone, Smokey Robinson, and the great writers for\\xa0Motown. As a teenager, he played in countless bars and clubs throughout the city with numerous bands. At 17, he\'d written his first song for the legendary jazz guitarist\\xa0George Benson, but being too shy to present the song, it wasn\'t until 10 years later that the late, iconic music producer,\\xa0Arif Mardin, heard the song and decided to have\\xa0Benson\\xa0record it for\\xa0Warner Brothers Records. That song is called\\xa0"In Search Of A Dream"\\xa0from the Grammy nominated album\\xa0"In Your Eyes."\\xa0At the age of 21, Falcon embarked on a national tour, playing for an act, opening for the\\xa0Bee\\xa0Gees.Some of the artists that he\'s worked and/or shared the stage with are\\xa0Roberta Flack, Sophie B. Hawkins, Whitney Houston, B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Jim Lauderdale, Robert Palmer, Phyllis Hyman, Peter Gabriel, and Nona Hendryx. "Either recording an album for\\xa0The Village People\\xa0or playing with\\xa0Jonathan Butler\\xa0on\\xa0The Tonight Show With Johnny Carson, it was one big musical trip" The Light Shines\\xa0is Adam Falcon\'s most recent effort. The EP, released in 2015, marks his fifth recording to date.'
