Welcome to part three of our month of video game movies, as we look at the proverbial before and after film adaptations of the (checks notes) most successful interactive video-game character in history*… Lara Croft. We check so many bad movie boxes this time around that we genuinely think we should make a bingo game out of it. Join us for badly written puzzle sequences, warranted disparagement of Jon Voight, poor archeology and character development across two decades of “progress”, and the inevitable, but far-too-long conversation about a video game character's historic bust.
