We, two straight men, are ill equipped to do this episode on our own, so we decided to bring some LGBTQ+ friends of the pod to pick out some films and chat: Khari Walser and Ginnie House! (A G and a B, respectively). Our guests have tee'd up two tropey bits of queer cinema for us to munch on like Chipotle's Drag Queen menu: 2015's Carol, and victim of legendary Oscars debacle, 2016's Moonlight. Join us as we cover male gaze in lesbian films, violent masculinity, and giving queer and black characters joy... but also thirsting over Janelle Monáe and Cate Blanchett because that is an all-inclusive adventure.
