Melaw Nakehk'o (Liidlii Kue Deh Cho Denendeh) is a traditional moosehide tanner based out of Yellowknife, NWT and is on a mission to not only spread the word about the importance of traditional moosehide tanning to the people of Denendeh in relation to their connection to land, but she's also on a mission to teach the next generation of moosehide tanners the importance of holding onto the old ways of doing these vital land based activities.
