Frostburg Grows is helping you celebrate spring by brushing up on your gardening skills with their Seed Exchange March 11, from 2p-4p at City Place in Frostburg. They have partnered with local master gardeners, that will be providing demonstrations, answering gardening questions, and  seed exchanges. 

If you are trying to expand your gardening prowess, by signing up for a community garden plot at Frostburg Grows high tunnels and raised beds. 

If you are interested in a native plant sale it will be happening May 12 from 10-3p

Frostburg Grows is a sustainable agriculture and training center located in Frostburg, MD. The 5-acre site, formerly used for coal mining, has been re-purposed to demonstrate innovative, sustainable land usage. The organization is committed to growing food for the future, supporting local farms in our area, and training others to do the same.

Frostburg Grows is utilizing their growing space to grow food donations for local food pantries. They are encouraging everyone to donate extra foods their garden is producing to the local farmers markets. Last year they were able to donate 26,000 lbs of food.
