I know a woman whose life is plagued by a drinking problem. Over the years, she hurt a lot of people, and eventually she stopped believing that she could ever change. This woman believes that she is a lost cause. So, she lives her life feeling ashamed, guilty, and constantly depressed.   Sadly, I see too many people believe the same lie, which says, “you are too far gone” or “you have messed up too many times for God to save you.” But this, my friend, is not what God believes about us! To God, we are all a worthy cause. The Bible says in Romans 8:39, “…neither height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” That means, no matter how much you have messed up, Jesus is willing to offer you grace and love, forgiveness and a fresh start if you’re in a personal relationship with Him.   Who in your life needs to hear of Jesus’ amazing grace today? Who needs to be reminded that they are not a lost cause, and that Jesus cares for them? Pray about it, then act on what God lays on your heart.
