Chris Krehymeyer with teen leaders from the Normandy Kiwanis Club. Normandy Kiwanis Club teen members devote hours of service for projects, families and communities. Several projects were introduced to promote youth development, character development, leadership and the like. They are working collaboratively and hands-on with community services to be felt by the people. This group of young women contributed in building playgrounds, participated in volunteer activities and tackled projects that could change the world. They have a set of responsibilities to implement and establish plans for the benefit of the people and the organization as a whole. They are encouraged to improve their leadership skills. This is a one way for them to exhibit their good citizenship. Another initiative prepares them for adult interaction in broader projects . There were already accomplishments starting from 2011 to 2012. The child of a Normandy teacher who was fighting cancer benefits from the organized dinner. Happy meal bags such as fruit snacks and small toys were provided. Supplies and foods were collected for the families of Normandy students! With the Normandy Key Club, the world is changed for a better future!
