Radio COTA #38: What’s To Come in 2017

Published: Jan. 12, 2017, 1:26 a.m.

This week at Radio COTA, we are excited to chat with the COTA (Council on The Ageing) Queensland Chief Executive, Mark Tucker-Evans, and the Chair, Peter Howells, about the possibilities, opportunities, advocacy, and lobbying, that COTA Queensland will be undertaking with Older Queenslanders in 2017, with the goal of influencing all levels of Government, the business sector, and the general community to create an Age-friendly Queensland. There is information on Retirement Planning and living costs, as well as an exciting opportunity for all of us to be involved in creating an 'All Abilities Queensland'. The fun and frivolity continues with the 'What's On' section - including the Chinchilla Melon Festival, and we celebrate the Inaugural NAB AFL Women's Competition! Don't forget to listen carefully to the 'Did You Know' trivia - there's a chance to win a $20 Woolies Gift Voucher! So...grab a cuppa, put your feet up and enjoy! We'd love to hear from you ... please contact us with your suggestions, ideas, or feedback at radiocota@cotaqld.org.au Bye for now, Ange and Andy
