We are continuing this series of sermons answering the questions; What is happening in Israel, and what does it mean? \\xa0
The chief answer to our second question, "What does it mean?" is that the events happening in Israel are like puzzle pieces snapping into place.\\xa0 When you come close to finishing a puzzle, those final pieces start falling into place more easily, and you can see the complete picture of what the puzzle is depicting. \\xa0
Well, these events and hostilities in Israel feel like final end-times pieces snapping into place.
Ever since the Jewish people, en masse, began returning to Isreal and building that nation, the expectation that we were close to the end has been growing.\\xa0 And now we have further signs that it is close; worldwide hostility toward Isreal, the very real prospect that a world leader (we come to know as the antichrist) will broker a 7-year peace treaty, the rebuilding of the temple and return to the Old Testament sacrificial system.\\xa0 All of these no longer seem like fanciful tales from overzealous Bible-thumpers.
