On this Side Note episode, I wanted to talk about the Australian Government\'s \'Mental Health Care Plan\' 

\\n

- what is it 

\\n

- who may be eligible for it 

\\n

- how people can access it 

\\n

- what benefits are associated with the plan for those who are eligible to receive it (i.e. Medicare rebates and access to a range of health professionals)

\\n

- as well as some of my own personal experiences shared when speaking to my doctor about it and accessing the plan for myself.

\\n

I believe it\'s important that people are aware this plan exists, if not for themselves then for maybe for someone they know (friend or family member), that may be going through their own mental health challengers and would benefit from knowing this plan and financial assistance is available.
