Rick's First Wife Couldn't Stay
Rick didn't want his marriage to end, but his wife couldn't take the lies and the revelation that she had been married to a man keeping secrets from her for 15 years. He turned over full custody to her, losing all control over when and where he could see his kids.

God Will Redeem
Rick wasn't allowed to put his kids to bed for years after the divorce. He only had supervised visits a couple of times per week. Then, his ex-wife, while still hesitant to believe he was actually free, pushed his to prove his freedom from sin by taking a polygraph. He passed the test, which led to an extremely emotional time where he got to tuck his kids into bed for the first time in years.

God Is Always With Us
God's character is simply that He is good. He is kind. He is always with us. Put the work in to get free and He will redeem and restore in your life in more ways than you can imagine. God doesn't just want a relationship with us where we're constantly confessing sin. He just wants to hang out with us. He loves us and wants to spend time with us - time where we're just enjoying his presence. It's so worth the battle for porn-freedom.
