Welcome to episode #153!\\xa0 Matt and Braden discuss why being complacent can keep us stuck in porn, and why it matters to take action and be intentional in getting free from porn!

Complacency isn\'t a feeling
Complacency creeps into our life when we stop engaging with God, when we move away from being in community and when we aren\'t intentional in our movement away from porn use. It can be revealed in subtle shifts that move us into complacency as it isn\'t something that happens overnight. However we do have a choice in being complacent and we have to be aware of the choices we make.

Complacency is defeated with connection
We need others and we need God when we are battling porn, and to keep us from becoming stuck in complacency. When we are disconnected we drift away from God and others and it can be a slow movement that over time can lead us deeper and deeper into addiction. We have to battle that drift by staying diligent and working at being connected to God and others.

Complacency is crushed by vision
When we have a vision for our freedom from porn and for a deep intimacy with Jesus, we leave complacency in the dust. We need to build that vision and let God guide our steps so that we don\'t get defeated and so we can move away from porn and into freedom.
