Hey Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Together, We're Gonna Find Our Way: An Unofficial Silver Spoons Podcast. Today, I covered S4E11 The Barbarians, which aired on December 8, 1985. In this episode Edward's father invites him and Ricky to join him at a lodge. And it is there that he unleashes his wild side. When one of his lodge mates plays a prank on him, he sets out to get back at him with Edward and Ricky's help. The time has come I never thought I'd see the day with this show where I would rate any episode less than a two out of five, the Season 2 Mr. President holds that record as the worst episode for me of Silver Spoons. Well, S4E11: The Barbarians in my opinion topped that with my one star rating and taking over as the worst episode of Silver Spoons for me. Now mind you, I still have the rest of Season 4 to get through and all of Season 5 to cover so who knows this may change. I also covered S4E12; Three Musketeers, which aired on December 15, 1985. In this episode Freddy writes a letter that catches the attention of Congressman Tip O'Neill. I though this episode was good, for being Freddy's (Corky Pigeon) last episode. I can see why they chose to move away from Freddy since Brad came on to fill the new Derek Taylor role and now that Rick is getting older, there isn't room for Freddy's goofy and clumsy self. Join me next week for a three episode podcast episode. Yes, for the remainder of Season 4. I will be covering three episodes a week. S4E13: Second Class Parent, which aired on December 21, 1985. In this episode While Edward is out of town, Kate gives Rick permission to go to Fort Lauderdale for winter vacation. S4E14: The Lady is A Tramp, which aired on January 5, 1986. in this episodeRick invites a bag lady to dinner where she makes quite an impression on a client of Edward's. S4E15: Stratton & Stratton, which aired on January 12, 1986. In this episode Rick invents a board game called Rock Express, but refuses to take Edward's advice on how to market it. Have a good week everyone. Stay Home, Stay Safe and Stay Positive! We WILL Get through This!
