Today I'm covering S2E6: Driver’s Ed, which aired on November 26, 1983 In this episode When Edward and Kate go out of town, Grandfather Stratton agrees to teach Ricky how to drive, but the lesson takes a wrong turn. This was a funny and cute episode. It definitely makes up for last week’s episode. What kid wasn’t chomping at the bit to learn how to drive? I know I was counting down the years at that point. Also Derek’s admiration of Kate goes too far as he kisses her hand. This action makes Edward stand up and take notice of Derek, giving him a long hard look, like, I see you Derek and I know what you’re about. You don’t fool me” Grandfather Stratton right away calls Derek out calling him as see through as Saran Wrap. Yes!! See, he gets it! Also Derek breaking and entering into the Stratton Mansion with a credit card to get his jacket. At this point, we expect nothing less from him.
