Happy Sunday Punky Peeps, Angela Bowen here, the host of Punky Power: An Unofficial Punky Brewster Podcast. Let’s think of a common fear most people have: getting stuck in an elevator. Ok, great, now let's up the ante and add a pregnant woman going into labor who gets stuck in there with the girls. Now Punky’s got a broken leg (as shown in the picture) so she’s gonna be out of commission and really be unable to do much, so that leaves Cherie (in her shining moment) to save the day. Now in the four seasons of Punky Brewster we’ve seen Cherie grow up along with Punky. Cherie seems a little timid and usually is ok with Punky stepping up to take control of a situation. Although when you think about it Punky tends to be the mischief maker and Cherie is the rational one. I’m looking forward to Cherie being the hero for a change and getting her moment in the spotlight.
