After overhearing Henry's conversation to Mrs. Johnson about how expensive it is to raise a child these days. Punky and her friends come up with a plan to make some dough by starting a dog grooming business suggested by Mr. Green Vice President of Midvale Bank and Trust when Punky visits him asking for an $80,000 loan to help raise herself until the age of 18. Hilarity and chaos ensues as Punky and her friends bite off more than they can chew when becoming lucrative business entrepreneurs.
