Today, I covered the next episode in the Jesse & Becky: A Love Story Series Full House S5E10: Happy Birthday babies, Part 2, which aired on November 12, 1991. In this episode, it is finally Michelle's fifth birthday party. Everyone dresses up. Dj dresses up as Wilma in Michelle's Flintstones themed party. Stephanie dresses up as Betty Flinstone, Danny, is Dino and all of the kids wear cave men clothes. Comet has a dinosaur costume on and Jesse is dressed up as Fred. Just as Jesse plans to go downstairs to celebrate Michelle's birthday, Becky goes into labor... and so does Jesse, but we soon learn that he has appendicitis. Michelle has to cut her birthday short, but she doesn't mind because her new cousins, Nicky and Alex, get to share her birthday. She especially can't wait because triple the birthday means triple the cake! As always the episode got me in the feels department when we see Jesse and Becky holding their newborn twin sons who they name Nicky and Alex. The shenanigans at the Tanner house prior to lead up to the birth , from The Flintstones costumes, which were awesome looking, btw's. Michelle and her guests being left alone for a mere 5 minutes giving us a classic 90's drop of the famous Home Alone hands slap to the face scream. I also learn the name of the cat from The Flintstones, get this, it's "Baby Puss", gross right? They couldn't have named it Tiger. How many shows can you name, that have a character undergoing an appendectomy. I can name a few, from back in the day, Diff'rent Strokes, Silver Spoons, Punky Brewster and what Jeremy declares this episode of Full House to be a blatant rip off storyline of is Night Court, where Mac's wife goes into labor and he has to have his appendix removed. Loved Danny rocking out to Queen's We Will Rock You while coaching Becky through her breathing and contractions. Also his Dino costume was hands down the best.
