b'Sometimes I don\\u2019t make promises because I believe there is a chance that I wouldn\\u2019t be able to hold it. Maybe some characters from the Bible, such as Peter the Apostle, should have done the same. Imagine promising the Lord that you will do anything for him, go to any distance for him, and even die for him, and then when the time comes to prove your loyalty to those statements to him, you turn and bolt. Most humans would get bitter and angry and may even not ever speak with you again. Not our Lord. In fact, Jesus went the step further and encouraged Peter to Pastor his flock that He would be soon departing from. Open up God\\u2019s Word to the book of Mark once again, and beginning from the 14th chapter, we\\u2019ll find out about \\u2018Forsaking the Lord.\\u201d'
