Public Radio Hour 'Fireworks, Autopsy, Art' (11/15/18)

Published: Dec. 3, 2018, 3:12 p.m.

In this episode of The Public Radio Hour, we learn about ThinkerCon, a global gathering of online educational content creators and hear about what might be the world's first Chemistry Fireworks Show. We'll also preview Lowe Mill's Art After Hours, happening Friday November 16th from 6-8pm. AL.COM Reckon's managing producer John Hammontree stops by to talk about the recent General Election and his article 'Autopsy Report: Democrats On What Went Wrong in 2018'. We'll also celebrate Community Newsroom producer J'Que's one-year anniversary as a volunteer producer, and Dorrie Nutt talks to folks attending the recent Huntsville Community Chorus performance of Hodie at First Baptist Church.

WANT TO CHECK OUT THE CHEMISTRY FIREWORKS SHOW? It happens shortly after 10pm on Saturday November 17th. Just find somewhere that you can see the Saturn V rocket. Don't go to the US Space and Rocket Center since it will be closed! Then, tune your radio to 89.3 WLRH Huntsville Public Radio and listen as the commentators give you a chemistry breakdown of the colors and sounds you see and hear created by each rocket. Have fun!
