Welcome to Protecting Your Nest with Dr. Tony Hampton. Joining the show today is someone who is not a known proponent of low-carb, Dr. Terry Mason. Rather, Dr. Mason prefers a plant-based approach to help his patients achieve optimal health. He has been featured in the films Forks over Knives and Game Changers, he attended Loyola University in Chicago, did his residency at the University of Illinois, and did his Urology fellowship at Michael Reese College. He has 26 years of experience practicing Urology with a focus on ED and prostate cancer. He is also the host of the Doctor in the House radio show in Chicago.

In this episode, the two docs discuss the similarities as well as the differences between their different dietary approaches. Along the way, both share their wisdom regarding topics like the standard American diet, refined carbohydrates, cholesterol, plant-based low-carb, cooking oils, and many more.
