In this week's episode, Casey Scott and Dr. Matt Woolley are joined by Travis Whittaker (Vice President Of Clinical Outreach at True Recovery) to talk about how playing basketball growing up filled a void in his childhood, why an injury introduced him to opioids, and how began to chase the feeling he had the first time he took an opioid.

Then Travis opens up about the self-destructive ways that he was sabotaging himself, some of the worst times in his addiction, and what his rock-bottom looked like.

We also dive into the process that Travis went through in order to achieve his twelve years of recovery, how his relationship with his wife and his son has evolved thanks to his sobriety, as well as his work as an interventionist.
