Michael Thompson received his PhD in Philosophy at UCLA, where he was a student of Philippa Foot. He is a Professor at the University of Pittsburgh, and was formerly an Assistant Professor at UCLA. He is the author of Life and Action (Harvard University Press 2008, 2012; Suhrkamp 2011) and "What is it to Wrong Someone?" in Reason and Value, ed. Wallace et al. (O.U.P. 2006). This podcast is an audio recording of Professor Thompson's talk - "You and I" - at the Aristotelian Society on 21 May 2012.
