Francesco Berto is Senior Lecturer at the Department of Philosophy and Research Leader at the Northern Institute of Philosophy, University of Aberdeen. He has also worked at the University of Notre Dame (IN, USA), the Sorbonne-Ecole Normale Sup\xe9rieure of Paris, and the Universities of Padua and Venice (Italy). He has published monographs on metaphysics and the philosophy of logic, and papers in Philosophical Quarterly, Philosophical Studies, the Australasian Journal of Philosophy, the European Journal of Philosophy, Synth\xe8se, the Review of Symbolic Logic, Philosophia Mathematica, American Philosophical Quarterly, Dialectica, and the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy.
