Ultimately, trying to get good feelings about ourselves from the outside-in left each of us feeling worthless and thinking thoughts like, “I’m not good enough.”
Even though it seems like we’re all born with natural confidence, we forget what we’re truly capable of. This happens because of our early relationships with caregivers, difficult life experiences, and feedback from the people or society around us.
If this sounds familiar, you might have a persistent internal voice that tries to undermine your confidence.
