Apple cider vinegar has gained a lot of popularity in recent years. Online you can find articles and blog posts touting that apple cider vinegar can help with weight loss, regulating blood sugar, soothing sunburns, treating eczema, the list goes on. If you regularly use apple cider vinegar you are likely using one with the mother, meaning that it is unrefined, unfiltered, and unpasteurized. During pregnancy it is advised to avoid unpasteurized foods, and this could include apple cider vinegar. The risks of eating unpasteurized foods during pregnancy and whether it is safe to consume apple cider vinegar when you are pregnant.
