God's holiness makes him completely distinct and unique. Holiness is not only moral purity, it is a word used to describe all of the perfections of God that make Him uniquely who He is - the Lord God of heaven and earth. Th prophet Isaiah had a vision in which he saw angelic being surrounding the throne of God. They were declaring to one another, "“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!” (Isaiah 6:3). The holiness of God should move us to humble adoration and worship.
