One of the most frequent descriptions the Apostle Paul uses for himself is a servant. He writes, "This is how one should regard us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God" (1 Cor. 4:1). The idea of being a servant can conjure images of degrading slavery or humiliation. Yet there is no more noble or honoring identity than to be a servant of the living God.
