April 5 2016 - Thankfulness for the Church
The Apostle Paul loved the Body of Christ and he constantly prayed for the health and well-being of the Church. To the Colossian Christians Paul wrote, "We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love that you have for all the saints, because of the hope laid up for you in heaven" (Col. 1:3-5). Let's allow the model of the Apostle Paul to stir us to pray for the Body of Christ.
