The Adventure

John 1:47-50

\\xa0A life lived for Christ, in the Spirit, should NOT be an obligation\\u2026

o \\xa0 It\\u2019s a privileged adventure that you don\\u2019t want to miss!

\\xa0 Setting up our passage for today:

o \\xa0 When Jesus is baptized, almost immediately John the Baptist proclaims that He is the very \\u201cLamb of God\\u201d!

\\xa7\\xa0 From that moment on Jesus sets out on a great adventure to Save the world!

\\xb7\\xa0 \\xa0 \\xa0 \\xa0 \\xa0What\\u2019s cool is, Jesus invites others to join Him on the adventure.

o \\xa0 One of those that He invites is a guy named Nathaniel.

John 1:47-50

o\\xa0 \\xa0\\xa0Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him, \\u201cBehold, an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no deceit!\\u201d \\xa0Nathanael said to him, \\u201cHow do you know me?\\u201d Jesus answered him, \\u201cBefore Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.\\u201d \\xa0Nathanael answered him, \\u201cRabbi, you are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!\\u201d \\xa0Jesus answered him, \\u201cBecause I said to you, \\u2018I saw you under the fig tree,\\u2019 do you believe? You will see greater things than these.\\u201d
