Shanine Alessia Young was born January 10, 1991 in Miami, FL. She was raised by a loving family, however, growing up she struggled with knowing her worth and her identity. Her parents instilled godly principles in her from a young age, however Shanine still made plenty mistakes along the way.

After experiencing God for herself in college, her life has never been the same. She is driven to empower, educate and equip others to live an abundant life because she has overcome low self esteem, hopelessness, materialism and many other issues.

Speaker, Teacher, Minister, Business Owner and Author are some of the titles Shanine holds. She is married to Jordan Young, Christian Hip-Hop Artist who goes by the name JYoungSFL, and she recently completed the School of Ministry Course at her church. They have a beautiful one year old princess whom they adore.

Shanine Alessia is a powerful, dynamic speaker who is passionate about encouraging and empowering individuals from all walks of life. Her unprecedented approach engages and intrigues her audiences, regardless of age. She founded Reaching While Teaching, LLC in 2020 and her company exists to educate, empower, and equip individuals to live their best life possible using their God-given gifts, talents, and abilities. 

She is also a professionally certified English teacher in the state of Florida and believes in reaching beneath the surface while teaching. She is the author of Reaching While Teaching: An Educator's Guide to Impacting & Transforming Lives. This book is an empowering guide to help educators make powerful impacts in the lives of their students. Creativity is infused in her bones and this is evident in her classroom and while she speaks at every event and even while she speaks on her podcast.
